ZhenZhou Longxing Company’s “Safe Production Month” Lecture and Practical Drill Regarding Fire Safety

Aimed at implementing our group’s deployment of subsidiaries’ “Safety Production Month” and promoting employers' sense and capability of handling fire emergency, Zhenzhou Longxing Safety Department held a lecture and practical drill with the theme of fire rescue at 14:30, 7th of June, demanding company’s administrators and part of front-line workers to attend.

Instructor Lee, coming from Zhongan Fire Safety Center of Zhenzhou Fire Department, was invited and made exhaustive explanations concerned with the basic Fire Safety system, the enterprise’s entity responsibility stipulated by Law of the PRC on safe Production being specified to every employees , checking electric safety in office, home and plant’s electrical equipment, notes of avoiding being robbed or stolen, the procedures of emergent evacuation escape during emergencies happening in throng sites , notes for safe driving, fire emergent evacuation and the use of fire tools. Moreover, the fire safety knowledge was imparted through the method of combing fire cases of varied regions, in which shocking and thought-provoking pictures and videos are presented

In the process, the audience sighed from time to time and took photos to remind themselves of key points that had occurred. In the link of proposing doubts and questions, all the people put did it actively. Obviously, the interactive method of teaching and learning help gain a deeper understanding of fire safety knowledge and evoke our perception of fire safety work’s significance.

After the end of the lecture, the company began the practical fire drill by opening fire alarms and lighting aerosol bombs, create a virtual electricity appliance burning scene on the second floor. As alarm went by, the company launched contingency plan, with every emergency group and department head taking immediate actions according to up-front plans to start the rescue. The rescue process included arranging evacuation, checking every room to make sure nobody at risk. The extinguishment group managed to put out a fire in the first time, a guarantee of safeguard and rescue group’s timely treatment. The whole practical drill took about 15 minutes, from the ringing of alarms and the accomplishment of gathering all people to conference hall.

After the drill, the company safety department, suburban fire department and drillmaster Lee made a summary over the whole drill, affirming the performance and pointing out deficiencies of the drill so as to shed some light on the following fire safety work.

The fire training and practical drill, including self-rescue and right use of fire extinguisher etc., helped employees gain a better understanding of escaping routes and methods, knowledge of fire safety and the right use of fire equipment. Meanwhile, employees were more conscious of the significance of fire safely. Finally it played an important role in publishing fire safety knowledge and improving employee’s self-protection and self-rescue ability, thus contributing to effective implementation of safety measures in the future.
