Safety is the Cornerstone of Life And Violations are the Source of Accidents

Safety in production is of paramount importance for a company’s production and operation, serving as the prerequisite and foundation for ensuring the safety of employees’ lives and property. In order to promote safety knowledge in production, the Safety Department of Thailand Yongxing Steel Company conducted systematic training for specialized equipment operators, specifically crane operators, in mid-September 2023.

The training was centered around the theme of “Ensuring Crane Safety.” It provided detailed explanations on pre-crane inspection and preparation, proper crane operation procedures, and the unique characteristics of crane operations in the company’s steel industry. Real-life cases and data were used to emphasize the importance of maintaining a high level of safety awareness, strict adherence to work discipline, and the fundamental principle of “safety first.” This aimed to further enhance the sense of crisis, responsibility, and mission among crane operators, prompting them to consciously follow all operational regulations and ensure the daily safety of crane operations.

After the training, participants gained a deeper understanding of the phrase “Safety is the cornerstone of life, and violations are the source of accidents.” They expressed their commitment to prioritizing safety in the future, strengthening safety awareness, promptly identifying safety hazards, practicing civilized operations, and making every effort to guarantee crane safety. They tightened the screw of safety production to the fullest extent possible, with the ultimate goal of preventing all types of safety incidents in production.
