As Christmas approaches, warmth goes before the season. In this year-end festive period, Nigeria Yongxing Company, guided by its development philosophy of “earning social recognition and achieving win-win growth with local communities,” carried out a series of Christmas public welfare initiatives in 2025, focusing on community care and support for vulnerable groups. Through visits to orphanages and outreach into local communities, the Company delivered festive care and hope to those in need by means of material donations, educational sponsorships, and other forms of assistance.
Caring for the Vulnerable, Protecting the Warmth of Childhood
Ahead of Christmas, the Company’s volunteer team visited the Agatha Ebewu Sisters’ Charity Relief Home and Ivinosa Orphanage, delivering essential supplies including rice, cassava, palm oil, milk, children’s food, diapers, and clothing, with a total value of approximately ₦8 million. These donations effectively eased the daily caregiving burden of the institutions and brought warmth, comfort, and reassurance to the children during the festive season.
During the visits, orphanage administrators introduced the children’s living conditions and growth, expressing sincere appreciation for the Company’s support during the holidays. The children responded with songs, smiles, and heartfelt performances, creating some of the most touching moments of this Christmas. Through these genuine interactions, philanthropy extended beyond material support to become a heartfelt connection between people.
Rooted in the Community, Sharing the Joy of the Season
Building on its care for vulnerable children, Nigeria Yongxing Company further deepened its cooperation with local communities. The Company visited the Ogua Main Community and the Egun Community, carrying out Christmas outreach activities and distributing festive supplies such as cattle and goats, rice, cooking oil, milk powder, tomato paste, yams, and locally sourced food items, with a total value of nearly ₦20 million, effectively meeting the practical needs of community residents.
The events were marked by a warm and lively atmosphere. Community members welcomed the Company’s representatives in traditional ways and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Company’s long-standing support and care. Even in areas beyond its primary operational locations, the Company upheld its principles of inclusiveness, co-building, and shared benefits, further strengthening mutual trust and emotional bonds with local residents.
Bridging Through Education, Lighting the Way to the Future
As one of the Company’s long-standing public welfare commitments, the “Lighting the Way” Educational Support Program continued as part of this year’s Christmas initiatives. In 2025, the Company maintained sponsorship for two university students, providing ₦300,000 per student per year to support them in completing their studies. Now in its ninth year, the program has helped numerous local youths pursue higher education and stands as a vivid example of the Company’s belief in “empowering through education.”
Families within the community widely recognize that the program not only alleviates financial pressure but also offers the younger generation hope for changing their futures, further enhancing community trust and identification with the Company.
Moving Forward Together, Letting Kindness Continue to Grow
The Christmas public welfare initiatives are a vivid reflection of Nigeria Yongxing Company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its deep integration into local society. The Company firmly believes that sustainable development is inseparable from community support, and that growing together with communities to achieve mutual benefit is the true path to long-term success.
While the festive season will pass, kindness and responsibility will endure. Looking ahead, Nigeria Yongxing Company will continue to respond to social expectations through concrete actions—allowing care to flow through communities and letting hope take root and flourish in the hearts of more people.
